Feeling so incredibly grateful to return to the West Virginia Governors School for the Arts. This is my third summer working for the program, but first time stepping into the role of residence life director. I have such a soft spot in my heart for GSA since attending as a student in 2018. GSA is the reason I decided to go into the arts as a career path. Having a fully funded residency program like this, to bring likeminded kids from all over the state and just let them learn and create for three weeks, it's life changing. We had a wildly talented, energetic, funny, kind crop of students this year. Seeing how passionate these West Virginia kids are about the arts, it makes me feel optimistic for the future. Anyways, here are some pictures from the last three weeks working for this amazing program.
